Whips are one of the most peculiar weapons in IVAN.

Although you might think they are very weak at first, but in fact they are extremely powerful due to their lightness and superb accuracy, and can be even sharper than edged weapons. In addition, they never break, unlike most weapons.

There are two types of weapons in 'whips' category: the usual weaker whip, and the runed whip which is heavier and slightly more powerful.

All whips in this game are one-handed weapon, including belts and banana peels.

Special Whips

There are no artifact whips, however there are two special kinds which are very powerful given their combined effect and accuracy.

Whip of Thievery

Effect: Disarms your opponent
Materials: nymph hair with a sapphire handle

Chameleon Whip

Effect: Polymorphs opponent into a random creature
Materials: ommel hair with a ruby handle
