Caused by imbibing alcoholic drinks, walking through magic bubbles, or taking a really nasty blow on the head. The most obvious effect is stumbling. "Whoa! Somehow you don't manage to walk straight!"
Don't try to read a scroll while you are confused - you may bungle the magic and waste the scroll.
