Don't approach it, the closer you are the more damage you take. Wands of fireball are your best bet.

Yeah, wands of fireball. Striking doesn't seem to be as effective.

Scrolls of detect material are invaluable for *seeing* it; just detect enner flesh and you will know exactly where it is at all times. If you have trouble finding a scroll of that, the bookstore in Attnam should have one.

Mondedr pass, yet another LIVAN item, can be sold for a good amount of money, as you said, read to increase certain stats, or given to someone in I think Attnam to reveal a new place on the world map.

I'm pretty sure you have to give the Mondedr pass to someone in New Attnam.
If it's your first time definitely do that.. it's fun to explore the new maps rather than just selling it for cash.

Thanks yet again fellas... say, are you guys tripping to elmo's reunion party?

Btw reading that damned papper did lower my attributes(cuz i wasn't practicing, or walking around), and allmost starved me to death. Also i went all around the town of new attnam and attnam, talked with all the people, still no says anything about it. (the irony is that after posting the question regarding it, i found 3 of them in one of my next game)

4zb4's mondedr pass guide:
OPTIONS
1) Read. And starve. Gain some INT and WIS. Lose most everything else.
2) Give to the mystery man in New Attnam (he's usually north-east of the sumo's house) to reveal the location of Mondedr on the world map.
3) Sell for quick cash
4) Use to train DEX

Been a while since i posted my last question, so here goes the next one:
What are the implications of dual manipulation of weapons/shields or use of both handed on a weapon (using a normal sized axe with 2 hands)
And are there any offhands settings for using lets say a long weapon and short one (long sword short sword/axe and dagger)

A weapon is automatically wielded with 2 hands if it's the only way for You to handle it (i.e. if You are to weak to wield it with one hand). I am not sure of any implications on dual weapons, so I won't contribute

There are no such "fixed limitations" like in Your last sentence. The AStr requirements are pretty much everything - if You have enough, You can wield a two-handed sword with one hand, if You have even more, You can wield a HALBERD with one hand. The requirements depend on the weapon/shield type and material.

If you are only wielding one weapon both arms are used regardless of whether you can wield it one-handed or not. When you try to wield a weapon in your other hand, only then does the game worry about whether the arm you're using to wield the original weapon is strong enough or not (and ISTR Chaostrom finding that individual arm strength does matter, though this will hardly ever be apparent unless you go around one-armed for a long period of time before getting back your lost arm). There is a penalty for using a weapon that you are just barely strong enough to wield (in one hand or otherwise), but I don't recall if the specific numbers have been posted anywhere.

Of course you can also change the material to a lighter stronger material. E.g., Ur Khan's ruby halberd is easily used one handed.

But as long as you are able to weild both weapons with no penalty, there are no further, dexterty penalty lets say? (i am thinking something like in D&D)

Example...

I am able to weild easily 2 swords but i may be after all more efecient using only 1 sword, or let's say 1 sword and a knife at most (saying that passing the STR check there should be a DEX check)

No dex penalties, I'm sure.

I believe there might be some sort of to-hit or speed penalty, though I'm pulling this out of my ass. However I'm pretty certain there is no less of a penalty (if any exists in the first place) for wielding a smaller weapon in your "off" hand. In fact doing so is probably a bad idea as it would slow down your proficiency growth with each weapon.
