| Anyone interested in playing beyond the Portal? I could set up a char that should be capable of a High Priest win and Post a savefile just before he enters the portal, laden with goodies. Then you can see how far you get. | |

| Damn, I got careless and got killed by an orc. Was up to 41 dex, and 37 Astr but only had 98 HP. It wil probaby be a while before I have time to train another character. | |

| OK here's a save file (IVAN 0.50) Killed Elpuri, Petrus, all named baddies except Ischaldirh 404 HP, 100+ Int/Wis Valpurium/GEF gear lots of wands and scrolls Wielding Justifier and GEF Whip of thievery +8 (also 80% bonus with shields) Can pray to any god from Nefas to Dulcis |

| Can I try this or is it only for those who have beaten the game? I have never been further than in GC 7 so I would like to see what it looks like later. I know it would be probably possible with wizardmode, but I think it takes all the fun out of game. | |

| It was fun to try, but I didn't get far: 156790 Petzl, kamikazed by a veteran kamikaze dwarf of scabies in gloomy cave level 12 Description: Well, first level after portal wasn't that bad, but it was mainly because Petzl had huge stats. I bet it took many hours to make it and I killed the character in less than two hours. Problems started in second level after portal. There was this room full of mages and those damn mystic dark frogs. I teleported in there, but most of the wands broke (was there acid rain wand in other box?). I polymorphed into an orc general and after that most of my stuff teleported away, so I had to go hunt them back. When I finally found Justifier again (one of the zombies had equipped it) I started to kill all the mages and mystic dark frogs. After I had cleaned most of this cave level I had only one wand of teleportation. I had used already two life savings and I polymorphed back into my normal form. I found one scroll of wishing and wished another life saving. After that I moved into a third level after portal and this level started to be too much for me. I died before with some dwarfs and last death was when I teleported into one of the rooms and tried to tame mages. I got only one mage on my side and soon after that my ring of invisibility and and amulet of ESP dissapeared. I equipped another amulet of ESP just to see veteran kamikaze dwarf of Scapies exploding near me... I hope others will get further, but it was nice to see some new levels. |
