Advertisements I infrequently visit this site and usually just use it for the wiki so I was unhappy to discover that all of the articles (or at least all the articles I found) have nothing but advertisements on them. How did this occur? Is it going to be fixed or not?  Sorry if this has already been discussed, I found topics about hackers and some containing complaints about spam but I couldn't find anything concerning fixing up the wiki. Thank you. | ||

It's been a problem for a long time now, ever since bots found out how to break CAPCHA. Capristo will probably get round to fixing it after he's done with the main site. | ||

The wiki has been secondary since the greatboards days. More or less everything is on the forums. | ||

Geez, that's awful. ReCaptcha definitely isn't cutting it anymore. I restored the Wiki for now but I imagine it's only a matter of time before they take over again. I'll try to keep an eye on it. | ||

Since ReCaptcha has been beaten by the spambots, I've enabled a different captcha (similar to the one when registering) where the user has to answer a simple question about the site. Hopefully that will improve things. | ||
